Experienced Sports Administer was Shivantha Vivekanandan was elected as the Project Chairman for Deaf International Cricket Council in Sri Lanka. He stated that the Sri Lanka Deaf Cricket team would play their first leather ball ODI cricket match against the Pakistan Deaf Cricket team at the De Soysa Stadium, Moratuwa at 10.00am on November 20.
The cricket tournament will have two ODIs and three T20 cricket matches.
Also the matches will be played at the Galle International Stadium and the R. Premadasa International Stadium.
The final cricket match and awards ceremony will be on November 25 at the De Soysa Stadium, Moratuwa, commencing at 1.30pm.
The Deaf delegates from Sri Lanka are Shivantha Vivekanandan, Asela Jayatilleke and Mohamad Naizer participate at the Deaf International Cricket Council Annual General Meeting at the Berjaya Mount Royal Hotel, Mount Lavinia from November 27 to 29 where the delegates from ten countries namely England, South Africa, India, Nepal, Australia, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, New Zealand and Afghanistan participate.
