JAMMU, Apr 27: The Handicapped inmates of JRC Home for Handicapped bagged 28 medals in the special Olympics Bharat under the scheme of sports and games for the disabled of Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India held at Nagrota the other day.
In all 27 physically challenged and hearing impaired children of the Home including 8 girls participated in the games for which resource support was provided by by Paralympics Committee of India and All India Sports Council of the Deaf.Among the boys Harsh, Gulshan, Ritesh, Jeet Raj and Rohit won gold medals while Sabreena and Anjli bagged gold in girls category. Total medal tally included 7 gold, 18 silver and 3 bronze.
