- The state health dept has formed a Inquiry Commission to probe the doctors misdeeds on issuing of false certificate in the minor deaf girl gang rape issue in Krishnagiri Dist.
- The TARATDAC has sent a petition to the state health secretary on Feb.13 and demand to take action on the misdeeds of doctors on various occasions in this heinous crime. Particularly the Denkanikotta Govt. Hospital Dr. Ranganathan, who admitted the minor deaf girl for 6 days and not taken any steps to find evidences regarding the sexual assault.
- In the same way, to hide the facts and realities Dr. Nandini of Govt Hospital, Hosur of Krishnagiri district, has given a contrary and irrelevant medical report as "hymen is intact, no external injuries over external genitalia, and the minor girl has not been raped" to safeguard the vested interest.
- But, on the direction of the Chennai High Court a re-medical examination was conducted at Dharmapuri medical college hospital and found that "hymen was not intact and external injuries were found on the genitalia, even after 40 days of the crime committed.
- Now, the state health & rural health services dept director Dr. A. Chandranathan has set up this commission on March 9th, as per the direction of the state health secretary Dr. J. Radhakrishnan based on our demand.
