01.06.2015, BHUBANESWAR: Students of Satyabhama Devi College for the Hearing Impaired, the only college for the hearing and speech impaired in the state, have all passed the annual Plus II examination, results of which were declared here on Monday.
The college registered cent per cent results with all 54 students passing the exam in the arts stream. While six of them passed in first division, 42 passed the exam in second division and remaining six in third division.
"Today, these children have proved they are no less capable than anyone in any way despite their physical disability," said managing trustee of the college Niroja Laxmi Mohapatra.
The college is the second institute meant for higher education of the hearing impaired in the country.
