AUG.25 STRUGGLE CONFIRMED
அதிகாரிகள் எந்த வாக்குறுதியும் தராததால் திட்டமிட்டபடி ஆக.25 போராட்டம்
In connection with the Aug.25 state wide "Burn GO agitation", the State Disabled Welfare Commissioner Dr. K. MANIVASAN,IAS, State Commissioner for the Social Security Schmes Thiru. PRADEEP YADAV held a talk with the TARATDAC office bearers today. It began 11-30 am and prolonged 1-20 pm.
In the 1.3/4 hours talk, the officials refused to look into the ground reality. They also refused to see "How the GO is hurting the sentiments of the disabled and how it comes out against the existing special PWD law, UN Convention which Govt of India ratified, and also the 2003 Supreme Court verdict.
The officials puts some points contrary to the facts and said that the norms has been simplified through the GO.
Hence the officials were not given any assurance to consider the basic demands, we hereby announce that the Aug.25 agitation will go as per the schedule.
S. Namburajan, General Secretary, K.R. Chakravarthi, State Treasurer, K. Murugan State Vice-President took part in the talks.
